SORRENTO BACK BEACH (Ocean side) |
This surf beach is part of the Mornington Peninsula National Park. There are picnic and BBQ facilities. Sorrento Surf Lifesaving Club members patrol the back beach at Sorrento from late December through to the March Labour Day weekend. The beach is patrolled every day in January and thereafter only weekends. Patrols usually operate from 10.00am through to 6.00pm in high season and 11.00am to 5.00pm at other times. Sorrento SLSC patrols offer first aid and aquatic rescue services as well as a junior water safety and competition programme called 'Nippers' For more information contact Sorroento SLSC
